Warning: Disinformation Superspreader Going Door to Door in Woodbury Today
Tyler Etzel Jr. and John U. Keleman are going door to door in Woodbury this weekend, and they ain't bringing the truth with him.
So, as we’ve already covered here at The Monroe Gazette, Democratic nominees for the Woodbury Village Board, Tyler Etzel Jr. and John U. Keleman, have willfully been spreading disinformation around town.
Despite being fact-checked, not only by The Monroe Gazette but also by Woodbury Village Trustee Susan Fries-Ciriello at the most recent Village Board meeting, the disinformation campaign continues.
Above: At 59:44 you can see Etzel’s bogus claims being debunked by the Village Board of Trustees.
Today, Syrup Properiter Tyler Eztel Jr. and John U. Keleman — life long Republican turned sudden Democrat this year — are going door to door, telling people their taxes have gone up 41%.
This is absolutely not true.
Etzel is telling people (as seen above) “They are not doing something with the golf course.”
When Etzel was corrected by the resident in the above video, Etzel shifted his story and said the Town refused to meet with Wayne Corts.
This is also not true.
As seen in text messages shared with The Monroe Gazette between Village officials and Mr. Wayne Corts; Mr. Corts had meetings scheduled, which he canceled at the last minute on more than one occasion.
If you see either man come to your door over the weekend, feel free to fact-check them.
Mr. Corts had meetings scheduled with village and town officials, but he canceled them and, yes, Mr. Corts did indeed sell the Falkirk Golf Course.
Above: A 2022 presentation by Mr. Corts about his plans for the Falkirk Golf Course, which Mr. Etzel attended and was referred to, by Mr. Corts, as “a really good friend.”
Mr. Etzel can be seen in the video above telling a resident that he doesn’t “want them to do anything with the golf course.” This is a direct contradiction of his statements from this 2022 presentation where he voiced his support for Mr. Cort’s condominium project.
We will return to our regular posting schedule on Monday, but I didn’t want to let these bozos get away with bullshiting The People this weekend.
As a proud (now former) Democrat, I am ashamed that my party endorsed Etzel and Keleman for office.
I switched to Working Families because the Democratic party endorsed Keleman, Freiband, Fabbro, and Etzel as candidates.
Why? Because these men are exactly what people think of Democrats — often unfairly — That we promise to support our community, but often do the minimum.
Or worse still, that we promise to support our community while working for the same corporations that price gouge you at the grocery store.
This endorsement by the local Democrats — of candidates such as Etzel and Keleman— does not help repair our image as a party during a time when we need to stand strong for both the Truth and The People against the corporations and the fascists.
I’ll have more on this story for you soon.
Enjoy the weekend.
