Unfortunately, Brandon,

You totally, totally, totally cannot make this stuff up.

Thanks. I also read that the town had to dig some ditches to allow flooding from beaver dams. That is a relief: The cookery is a really cool place to try and check out the herons.

On another 'tack:' One resident noted that her brother in laws apartment complex has been bought by Hasidics? Or Orthodox in North Carolina and he is moving out in June because the upkeep on ie, the pool has 'lapsed' along with other upkeep needs on the complex.

Also, a friend of mine who lives here in Orange County but who also owns a home in Mississippi near his in-laws was recently asked by a contractor friend of his from Monroe for his opinion on whether he should take a job to do some work on apartment condo complexes his 'employers' in Monroe would like him to work on that they have purchased in Mississippi. The morale of the story is: Moving down South to escape the situation here in Orange County is not a guaranteed solution. Sometimes it is better to get organized, take a stand and fight for your community, the one you know, and don't necessarily want to leave.

What's the name of the apartment complex? I can look into this. And, yes, you're spot on. You can't outrun wealthy, powerful people in America. The billionaires run the place. So, you have to draw a line in the sane somewhere.
