Just subscribed. Should have done it a long time ago. I can't thank BJ enough for all the issues he has brought to light. We all need to be active, engage, & vigilant with what is happening in this area. Subscribing to The Monroe Gazette also helps BJ focus on the stories without worrying feeding himself.

C’mon folks! Sign up and subscribe to this newsletter. Our area has become a news desert…allowing some of our Local “officials’ to get away with murder. It’s a bargain too! Let’s go!!!!

Brandon,

That's 'rich,' Rich! The Woodcock Farm LLC is going to be a tree farm? What?! Are they going to take all the trees they knocked down in Clovewood and try to replant them on 'Woodcock Farm?' Who is going to lease the land across from 49 Mountain Lodge Rd as a tree farm? Another family member throughout their LLC network.

Is the 'tree farm' going to be a curtain to shroud their real activity? Who would lease the land as a tree farm when it will take years to 'bear fruit' and the land may be needed for the owners' development plans once they find a way politically, and/or legally, to get past the wetland rules that the Supreme Court watered down in a decision they made last year.

Are the town government members involved in monitoring potential development just naive about the many 'storylines' they are given about all the activities with the multiple interconnected LLC's?

So far I've found Town Supervisor Jeroloman to be responsive on (almost) every issue. So if he says he's keeping an eye on it, I believe him. But like any elected official, I think that eye can wander too unless the voters hold each of them accountable. So it's going to be up to residents of Washingtonville and Blooming Grove to keep an eye on that property and make sure the Town of BG is ready to step in if there's any funny business. I've shared all this info with the Supervisor, so he's aware of the connection between woodcock farm and Keen Equities and Blooming Realty. Vigilance is the order of the day for everyone interested in protecting the environment in our area.
